Im Jahr 1913 kauft Camillo Montalcini von der Gemeinde Montefalco Fonte Sala, einen Bauernhof mit 12 Hektar Ackerland. Bis in die 90er Jahre ist Fonte Sala stets ein landwirtschaftlicher Betrieb geblieben, gef\u00fchrt von Bauern und Viehz\u00fcchtern aus der Region.<\/p>\r\n

Als 1996 ein deutscher Maler mit seiner Familie das Anwesen bezog wurde Fonte Sala zu einem Wohnsitz.<\/p>\r\n

Zu Beginn des neuen Jahrtausends wurde das Anwesen komplett restauriert und Dank des kontinuierlichen Engagements von Francesca Montalcini und ihrem Mann Francesco, zu einem Feriendomizil umgebaut.<\/p>\r\n

Heute wird der Ferienbetrieb von der vierten Generation der Familie Montalcini gef\u00fchrt.
